§The command level#

Battleplan puts you in charge of operations on the Western Front from 1944 onward. You draw plans for formations, while officers and companies carry out their assignments. Pause to review a changing situation, run the battle in real time to observe a critical phase, and use faster simulation when the operation is stable.

Released on 12 October 2026, the game is developed by Foolish Mortals Games Inc. and published by Slitherine Ltd. The publisher describes 11 historical campaign missions and two tutorials, covering D-Day through Operation Varsity.

§Three checks before advancing#

  • Force: know which regiments will attack, which will hold the route, and where headquarters will remain protected.
  • Supply: check depot stocks and the route to divisional headquarters before extending the front.
  • Plan: distinguish the plan you drafted from the one executing; reaching an objective still leaves a corridor to secure.

§Choose the problem you need to solve#

Follow the beginner sequence for a first operation. For a stalled advance, inspect supply and active orders before committing more troops. For a new formation, check command requirements, mission weight and specialist coverage before spending Requisition.
